CANCELLATIONS DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC
In response to the increased concern about traveling during the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, Hope Lodge has added a clause to our standard cancellation policy *That full payment is due on 30 days before arrival but will be refunded until 3 days prior to occupation date if Governments initiate cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. * Please note these booking policies apply ONLY to guests that book their stay directly with Hope Lodge. Bookings made through agents or companies are governed by the relevant company’s policies.

Cancellations

Cancellations are applicable within a maximum of 72 hours prior to arrival on booking date.

Cancellation penalties for confirmed bookings will apply and be deducted from the refund request as follows:

Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival/booking date = 90% Refund

Cancellations 14 days prior to arrival/booking date = 70% Refund

Cancellations 3 days prior to arrival/booking date = 50% Refund

Cancellations less than 3 days prior to arrival/booking date = No Refund

Cancellations are subject to approval/rejection.

Refunds

If your cancellation is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, bank account or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
